The Huntsville Downtown Business Alliance (DBA) is committed to supporting and promoting local businesses, enhancing the downtown experience, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. My collaboration with the DBA has focused on crafting marketing materials that capture the vibrancy of downtown Huntsville while engaging both longtime residents and new audiences.
I design advertisements, event promotions, and magazine layouts that seamlessly blend visual storytelling with strategic messaging. My goal is to ensure that each piece not only highlights local businesses and events but also connects with the community in a way that feels fresh, dynamic, and reflective of downtown’s evolving energy. Additionally, I provide marketing insights to help the DBA reach a younger demographic, ensuring their outreach remains relevant and engaging.
I partnered the DBA with Sam Houston State’s PR & Advertising program to lead a student-driven campaign for Wine Down, Whiskey Up 2025. As campaign manager, I guided 11 students in creating a full marketing strategy, from social media to community outreach. This hands-on collaboration brought fresh ideas to the DBA while offering students real-world experience. I continue to support the DBA’s overall marketing, helping connect the university with local businesses to keep downtown Huntsville thriving.
